Powerful High PR Backlinks from

The goal in any campaign
is to get quality backlinks pointing
to your site. And
one of the easiest ways to do that is to find websites with
a high Page Rank that allow you to
post links on their site. However, there is another
wrinkle. Many of these sites have added a piece of
code on their page, called a No Follow tag that
essentially tells the search engines NOT to count
the backlink. So while you can create a backlink, it
may not be credited to you by Google. So not only do
you need to find authority sites, you also need to
find sites that do NOT use the No Follow tag.

For those not familiar
with Squidoo.com, it is a web 2.0 property that allows
users to create their own web page (they call it a lens)
about any topic they desire. There are hundreds of
thousands of lenses created and hundreds are added
daily.
A lens can be made up
of a number of components (called modules) - text,
video, polls, etc. One of the modules allows people
to add their own link to the page. For example, a
lens on travel might allow people to add resources
related to the travel industry. This is done to make
the lens that much more informative for the public.
This, of course, gives
us a chance to get some very targeted backlinks -
and they are all DO FOLLOW - the right kind of
backlinks.

PAGE RANK
Squidoo itself has a
Page Rank of 7 but some lenses even have their own page rank. Now you can't add your
link to every lens, and not every lens we can add
links to have a Page Rank of their own - but getting links on a
high PR site like Squidoo is a bonus. The trick is to find
lenses that you can add a link to.
